David Lawson is a writer, performer, director, and teacher.
Lawson performs one-man shows all around New York City and across the country. His show Nazis and Me is about his encounters with hate groups.
Lawson performed in the
Comedy Central sketch "The Rage Restaurant."
Lawson hosts the monthly Astoria Bookshop Storytelling Show, a free storytelling open mic the first Thursday of each month. The show has been featured in the New York Times.

Lawson teaches storytelling classes online through Queens Theatre's Theatre for All program.

Lawson teaches workshops where students learn to write and perform one-person shows.

Lawson has performed on the popular storytelling podcast RISK!
