David Lawson is a writer, performer, director, and teacher.
Lawson performs one-man shows all around New York City and across the country. His show Nazis and Me is about his encounters with hate groups.

Lawson performed in the
Comedy Central sketch "The Rage Restaurant."
Since 2014 Lawson has hosted the monthly Astoria Bookshop Storytelling Show, a free storytelling open mic the first Thursday of each month. The show has been featured in the New York Times.
Lawson teaches storytelling classes at Jamaica Center for Arts and Learning
and Queens Theatre.
Lawson teaches workshops where students learn to write and perform one-person shows.
